Please note that certain categories of information are mandatory in order to register for a MELT Investment account with Northern Provident Investments Limited and to invest in our bond.

If you sign up to an ISA account, Northern Provident Investments Limited will need to collect and process further personal information to enable you to register for their ISA account and to update you on any information on your account.

By registering for an ISA account you consent to Northern Provident Investments collecting and processing this personal data.

MELT Investment “GDPR” Policy

1- Understand Your Data – Policy.

MELT Investment collects data for two distinct groups, Employees and Investors.

All data is collected with the consent of the provider.

Employees’ data is shared with agencies who process their data, including payroll and other government departments as required by practice or laws.

The organisation/s with whom the data is shared should be advised that they are processing data on MELT Investment’s behalf as required under GDPR.

Investor data is not shared with any third-party organisations.

How data is processed

Data is stored in the cloud by using Microsoft 365 and Active Campaign as well as some data is held on phones and other portable devices and computers where it may be processed and prepared to provide services to people for whom the data is held.

2- Create your data purpose(s) – Policy.

MELT Investment data purpose is to collect data on potential investors with a view to engage in an investment.

Data is collected via the MELT Investment website and stored on remote password-protected servers.

MELT Investment will store potential investors’ data for future communication with investors about investments that they have made and to promote awareness of future opportunities.

3- Support the data subject’s rights – Policy.

MELT Investment will regularly review the effectiveness of the IT systems to store data so that MELT Investment can produce Subject Access Data Reports as required.

4- Create an incident response plan – Policy.

MELT Investment policy of regularly reviewing the effectiveness of the IT systems to store data so that MELT Investment can produce Subject Access Data Reports as required will identify if any breaches of data security have taken place. If such a breach occurs, the extent and nature of the breach are to be communicated to the data subject within 72 hours of the discovery of such a breach.
